Old Airport Area, Doha
Old airport is a community in Doha located on the site of the only airport that used to service Doha before the new Hamad International Airport became operational.
Encircled between the D Ring Road and the E Ring Road, and nestled between the Najma Street and Al Matar street, this trendy downtown suburb offers a wide selection of townhouses, villas and multi-layout apartments.

Al Hamad International Developed School
In terms of schools, there are many schools that offer education under various curriculum- there is Bhavan’s Public School, which is affiliated to the CBSE board of the Indian Education system. The American academy offers American curriculum. Al Hamad International Developed School as well as Newton Secondary School have classes from kindergarten till Secondary.

A new British school, King’s College, an off-shoot of King’s College Taunton in the UK’s south-west, will begin operations just off E-ring road in Old Airport in the later part of 2017.
